Electricity, Gas and Heat Supply

We assist and advise national and international clients in the electricity, gas, and heat supply sectors on all matters of private and public energy law. Our services include both regulatory and contractual advice for electricity, gas, and heat supply companies, as well as district heating networks. We support energy utilities, public institutions, and industrial companies with regulatory issues, contract negotiations, permitting and concession proceedings, as well as proceedings before administrative agencies and courts.

Renewable Energies

We advise and represent companies and public institutions on all legal matters related to renewable energy. This includes, in particular, projects in the fields of hydropower, solar energy, wind energy, and other forms of renewable energy. Our advisory services include, among other things, permitting and licensing procedures, grid connection issues, feed-in tariffs, power purchase agreements, and the acquisition and sale of energy and origin certificates. In addition, we assist with the establishment of self-consumption groups (ZEV), virtual self-consumption groups (vZEV), and local electricity communities (LEG).
Our experts regularly represent clients in proceedings before the Federal Electricity Commission (ElCom), the Swiss Federal Office of Energy (SFOE), and other cantonal and federal authorities.
