Marc Kaufmann completed his law degree at the University of Zurich. Since late 2023, he has been working on his doctoral thesis on protecting assets from care, support, and nursing home costs despite beneficiary arrangements: social security-optimised estate planning with a focus on nursing home and dementia clauses. He submitted his dissertation at the end of March 2026. As a trainee lawyer, he supports the Litigation and Private Clients teams. Upon completion of his traineeship, he will take the bar exam.
