Review of the “Update SchKG” 2026

On 11 June 2026, the “Update SchKG” conference organised by the SJWZ Foundation for Continuing Legal Education Zurich took place in Zurich.
Under the direction of Daniel Hunkeler, participants received a concise overview of recent developments in Swiss debt enforcement and bankruptcy law. Particular attention was given to recent case law as well as practical issues arising in the field of debt enforcement and insolvency proceedings on the topics of collocation proceedings and collocation actions, summary debt proceedings, the latest case law of the Cantonal High Courts and the Swiss Federal Supreme Court, as well as selected issues at the intersection of Swiss debt enforcement and bankruptcy law (SchKG), family law and inheritance law.

With contributions of the speakers Jennifer Dürst, Cécile Frieden, Thomas Engler, Dominik Vock and Franco Lorandi, the conference provided valuable insights into current topics and practical challenges faced by practitioners.
