Daniel Hunkeler is a proven expert in restructuring, insolvency and debt enforcement law. He heads the restructuring / insolvency department at STAIGER together with his partner Marc Bernheim, as well as the department financial markets law-enforcement.
Daniel Hunkeler also has many years of experience as an administrator in judicial debt restructuring proceedings, as a liquidator/extraordinary official bankruptcy liquidator and as a debtor or creditor representative in judicial debt restructuring proceedings and distressed M&A proceedings. He also has been working for a long time now with the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority FINMA in the area of enforcement.
His other areas of practice include corporate and banking law as well as civil procedure and arbitration.
