STAIGER appointed as Special Bankruptcy Administration of FTI Touristik AG in Liquidation

STAIGER Rechtsanwälte AG (Lead Counsel: Georg J. Wohl and Dr. Daniel Hunkeler) was appointed on 23 June 2025 as the extraordinary bankruptcy administration of FTI Touristik AG in Liquidation, 4123 Allschwil in the Canton of Basel-Landschaft. Prior to this, STAIGER was already involved in the proceedings as an auxiliary agent.
FTI Touristik AG was part of the FTI Group, the third-largest tour operator in Europe by revenue. With its longstanding experience and expertise in insolvency and restructuring law, STAIGER is now leading the proceedings.
Among others, Dr. Daniel Hunkeler and STAIGER have also served for several years as extraordinary bankruptcy administrators in the travel sector for Thomas Cook International AG in Liquidation and Thomas Cook Services AG in Liquidation, 1322 Freienbach in the Canton of Schwyz.
