Investigators and auditors

We advise and represent the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority FINMA in the supervision and enforcement of financial market supervisory law. As part of FINMA's ordinary supervisory activities, we conduct regulatory investigations and audits of licensed financial institutions (in particular banks) as investigating or audit agents. We also support FINMA in determining and investigating suspected unauthorized activities.

Restructuring officers and liquidators

Our specialists are among the few restructuring agents authorized by FINMA to act in the event of a bank rescue or restructuring. In the event of a bank liquidation, STAIGER can be appointed as bankruptcy liquidator.
